Avonmore exhibited the Avonmore Professional cream series, high-quality dairy products and innovative solutions for both Baking and Tea & Beverage, showcased creative applications of Avonmore Professional products and more at the leading bakery and confectionery expo in the Asia-Pacific region.
Wendy Dorman-Smith, Consul General of Ireland in Shanghai, joined Avonmore’s exhibition on the opening day. Avonmore Professional has invited two star chefs, Mr. Ye Wei from China, Ms. Gráinne Mullins from Ireland, to showcase special pastry delicacies created with Avonmore Professional products.
Ye is a WACS certified international judge, and he’s the chairman of the regional organizing committee of World Pastry Cup in China, director of China Top Kitchen Pastry Club (TPCC) and FHC China International pastry and bakery competition. Chef Louie Ye showcased how to use Avonmore cream in two Chinese flavor inspired desserts, the red tea with aged tangerine peel made with 35.5% cream and black sesame and soy mousse with 38% cream.
Gráinne Mullins is an award-winning Irish pastry chef with over 10 years of experiences developing original, unique recipes for premium restaurants, she’s chief pastry chef and consultant for Ireland’s best restaurants including Dan, Ashford Castle, Cliff House, Ox, and Lignum. She was also the executive chef of La Table de Ventabren in France, winner of the prestigious Euro-Toques Young Chef of the Year in 2019, and she also made the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe List in 2023.
Her special menu for Avonmore Professional’s presentation at Bakery China 2024 was a peach paradise dessert that uses the summer season fruit and Avonmore cream, a harmonious and refreshing creation for this time of the year. Gráinne also demonstrated the usage of Avonmore cream and Avonmore Irish butter with another dessert dish, the sweet pear and celery mousse that’s healthy in terms of nutrition and elegant in flavor.
In addition, the Avonmore Professional cream series of products also expanded to Beverage usage like coffee and tea at Bakery China 2024. A full collection of ice creams was presented at this year’s tradeshow exploring the infinite possibilities of enjoying the Avonmore products, and the ice creams were immensely popular among the visitors.
