On June 6, the 2024 "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day" Hainan intangible Cultural Heritage publicity Exhibition and the fourth Sanya Nanshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival opened. This year's intangible cultural Heritage Festival will focus on showing the achievements of Hainan's intangible cultural heritage protection work, creating a strong atmosphere for the whole society to participate in the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, and improving the awareness of the whole people.
This year's "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day" takes "Protecting and inheriting the continuous historical context of intangible cultural heritage" as the theme, and Hainan has carried out a variety of intangible cultural heritage publicity and display activities in all cities and counties of the province. In recent years, Hainan has successively issued a number of management regulations on the protection of intangible cultural heritage, carried out research and training of non-genetic inheritors, and recorded projects of inheritors, and made remarkable achievements in promoting the integrated development of intangible cultural heritage and tourism, helping rural revitalization, and improving the level of non-heritage creative design.
On the morning of the same day, the melody of Li nationality characteristic song and dance "Show Style" opened the opening ceremony of Sanya Nanshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival, allowing the audience to experience the distinctive local characteristics and unique artistic style at close range, and the beautiful dance exited the cultural charm of Hainan regional characteristics. "Bamboo Wood Chengxiang" program is based on Hainan national intangible heritage representative project Li nationality bamboo and wood Musical Instruments as the carrier, combined with modern stage performance form. In the afternoon of the event, Hainan (Nanshan) Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Development Summit Forum was held. With the theme of "Non-genetic inheritance, cultural tourism empowerment, and integrated narrative", the forum focused on telling the story of Hainan's intangible cultural heritage protection, showcasing the achievements and experiences of Hainan's intangible cultural heritage protection, exploring a new path for the industrialization of Hainan's intangible cultural heritage characteristics, and establishing a new way to promote the integrated development of intangible cultural heritage and various cities and counties. The year 2024 is the ASEAN-China Year of People-To-People Exchanges. Hainan enjoys obvious geographical and popular advantages in people-to-people exchanges with ASEAN countries. This year's intangible cultural Heritage Festival carried out a series of activities such as Hainan ASEAN non-heritage Creative Market, Hainan Li Jin ASEAN countries traditional clothing show.
